A banknote of a larger nominal value is issued by the Central Bank in order to:

- Increase convenience for the population in the implementation of calculations in cash;

- reduction of costs associated with the implementation of calculations, storage and transportation of cash;

- efficiency of service of the population by ATMs;

- optimization of the banknote series of the national currency.

Issue in circulation of banknotes of 100,000 (one hundred thousand) soum will be carried out within the current volume of money supply and will not lead to its growth.

The type, description and date of issue of the new banknote will be announced by the Central Bank in the media.
