Joint Belarusian-Uzbek Intersectoral Institute of Applied Technical Qualifications established. “On the creation of a joint Belarusian-Uzbek intersectoral institute of applied technical qualifications in the city of Tashkent” The resolution of the President  was adopted. In accordance with the Resolution, a joint Belarusian-Uzbek intersectoral institute of applied technical qualifications was created in the city of Tashkent. The training of highly qualified engineering and technical personnel in accordance with international educational standards that can solve the most important scientific and production tasks of the industrial sectors of the republic is one of the main tasks of the Institute. The Institute is a higher educational institution - a resident of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the form of a state institution with the status of a legal entity. Education at the Institute is carried out in Russian according to the educational programs approved in the corresponding order, the educational activities of the Institute begin from the 2020/2021 academic year. Also, according to the Resolution, graduates of the Institute after graduation are given a diploma of higher education of the established standard of the Belarusian National Technical University, which is recognized as a document on higher education in Uzbekistan. Institute graduates, trained on the basis of state grants, are subject to distribution to work with the condition of working at least three years in educational institutions and organizations of Uzbekistan.
